Accepting these terms
By downloading, installing or using RDM Finder, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app. If you use RDM Finder for an employer or another organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.
Your use is also subject to the rules of the app store through which you obtained RDM Finder. If those rules conflict with these terms, mandatory law and the applicable app-store rules take priority to the extent of the conflict.
LICENCE
Your right to use RDM Finder
ANLC Lighting grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use RDM Finder on devices you own or control, for lawful commissioning, inspection and diagnostic work, subject to these terms and applicable app-store usage rules.
You may not sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of RDM Finder, except where applicable law expressly allows it. You may not remove ownership notices, bypass security or technical restrictions, interfere with the app, or use it to develop or test a competing product through unauthorised access.
RDM Finder and its software, design, text, graphics and branding remain the property of ANLC Lighting or its licensors. No rights are granted except those expressly stated here.
RESPONSIBLE USE
Use on lighting networks
Use RDM Finder only on networks and equipment that you own or are authorised to access and configure. You are responsible for having permission, understanding the installation, selecting the correct node, port, universe and fixture, and checking changes before they affect equipment or a live production.
Discovery results and device information may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate because of network design, firmware, protocol support, radio conditions or third-party equipment. Keep a record of important settings, follow equipment documentation and site procedures, and have a safe recovery method before making changes.
RDM Finder is a commissioning and diagnostic aid. It is not a safety system, emergency control, lighting desk or substitute for qualified judgement. Do not rely on it where failure, delay or an incorrect result could create a risk of injury, property damage or an unsafe show or installation.
Prohibited use
You must not use RDM Finder unlawfully, without authorisation, to disrupt a network or device, to introduce malicious code, or to infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights. You must comply with applicable third-party terms, including network, equipment, operating-system and app-store terms.
PURCHASES
App-store purchases and consumer rights
The applicable app store displays the price and purchase conditions before you buy and processes payment, refunds and related transactions under its terms. ANLC Lighting does not receive your complete payment-card details.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded, including rights concerning conformity, remedies, required updates and digital content or services. Any withdrawal or refund right depends on applicable law and the app-store purchase process.
AVAILABILITY
Compatibility, updates and support
Supported features depend on your device, operating system, permissions, network and connected equipment. Product descriptions and compatibility information published when you obtain the app form part of what you may reasonably expect from RDM Finder.
We may provide fixes, security updates, compatibility changes and new or changed features. Install updates that are made available and follow any installation instructions. We may discontinue a feature or the app where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law and any obligations to provide updates.
Support is available through the RDM Finder support page. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every network or third-party product.
PRIVACY
Data and communications
The RDM Finder privacy policy explains how the app handles local network information and how ANLC Lighting handles information you choose to send for support. Do not send passwords, Wi-Fi keys or private keys in a support request.
LIABILITY
Warranty and responsibility
RDM Finder is provided with the warranties and remedies required by applicable law. Beyond those requirements, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, ANLC Lighting does not promise that the app will always be available, error-free or compatible with every device, network, node, fixture or configuration.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ANLC Lighting is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of production, loss of revenue, loss of data or configuration, or damage caused by unauthorised or unsafe use, third-party equipment, network conditions or failure to verify a change. These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including liability for intentional misconduct or other mandatory rights.
TERMINATION
Ending use
You may end this agreement at any time by stopping use and deleting RDM Finder. Your licence ends if you materially breach these terms. Provisions that by their nature should continue—including ownership, limitations of liability and governing law—remain effective after termination.
GENERAL
Changes, law and contact
We may update these terms when the app, our practices or legal requirements change. The updated version will show a new effective date. Where required, we will give reasonable notice or request renewed acceptance.
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections available under the law of your country of residence. Courts have jurisdiction as determined by applicable law.
If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms, the applicable app-store terms and the referenced privacy policy form the agreement concerning your use of RDM Finder.
